Fight and Overcome the Difficulties Together

COVID-19 epidemic is raging, sweeping many countries and regions around the world, affecting the hearts of people all over the world. At present, in the face of varying degrees of shortage of epidemic prevention materials in many countries and regions, China Mobile International (CMI) has actively fulfilled corporate social responsibility and contributed to the world epidemic prevention.
In the US, with the spread of the epidemic, states of emergency have been declared in cities on the east and west coasts where Chinese embassies and consulates are located. In particular, the visa halls of embassies and consulates are crowded with people. In order to help the embassies and consulates fight against the epidemic, CMI US subsidiary immediately supported and installed infrared thermal imaging temperature screening equipment for the consulates general in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles to build the first line of defense against the epidemic. Also, we donated 10,000 masks to the consulates general in San Francisco and 1,200 masks to San Francisco nursing home to help reduce the risk of infection.
In Japan and Korea, learning about the epidemic situation, CMI quickly responded and cooperated with the Japanese operator, NTT DOCOMO, and Korean operator, KT, to deliver epidemic protection messages to our roaming customers, reminding them of self-protection, and to seek assistance from local Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (KCDC) in case of situation. Also, affected by the epidemic, some of the students in Japan have short-term communication difficulties due to the early cancellation of local SIMs. CMI Japan subsidiary responded quickly and prepared 2,000 CMLink Japanese data SIMs with local data within 2 days, which were placed into the "health bags" distributed by the embassy and provided to students in need.
In Singapore, with the rapid increase in COVID-19 confirmed cases and the escalation of government epidemic prevention measures, mask resources are extremely tight. The Chinese Embassy in Singapore planned to distribute masks to citizens. CMI APAC subsidiary responded actively to the embassy's call and acted quickly, taking the lead in donating 2,500 masks to the embassy among Chinese enterprises./span>
In Thailand, CMI Thailand subsidiary installed intelligent thermal imager temperature monitoring equipment for the Bangkok Visa Office of the Chinese Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand, to help embassies and consulates fight the epidemic, improve the efficiency of temperature measurement, strengthen safety prevention and control capabilities, and reduce the risk of epidemic transmission.
In Vietnam, CMI actively cooperated with Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City to send emergency SMS to roaming customers in Vietnam, and efficiently assisted local Chinese travelers to return home safely.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, CMLink has resolutely implemented the epidemic prevention arrangements, and immediately sent epidemic safety protection SMS to all CMLink users, including Japan, UK, and Canada, providing emergency contact information for various medical institutions and Chinese embassies abroad, and helping them to tide over the difficulties. A warm reminder, a sincere greeting, and a powerful cheering represent our greatest responsibility for customers.
